Don't take half sick days at work

I've found out it's better to miss a full day of work than missing the first part of the day and then coming in later. Even if you've missed a total of 1 and a half days in 6 months, you're going to get hell. Next time I'm sick, I'm deffinately not coming in to do any work. I'll make sure I get no work done what so ever. In fact, next time I'm sick maybe I'll miss three full days, but not three and a half days.
